After School Program
The objectives of the After School Program are to develop students’ third language skills, critical thinking skills and to provide them with activities that will develop their minds and bodies through recreational sports. The Program also aims to provide extra homework support for students striving to complete assignments.
Through individual and/or group tutoring, students will receive assistance with all aspects of their homework assignments. Homework Support is offered every Monday to Friday evenings from 15.20 – 16.05. Qualified teachers/tutors are available every evening for any assistance that students might require.
Students need to develop their English language skills to be successful in general education classrooms where English is the medium of instruction.
Cooperative learning is highlighted as instrumental in the comprehension of both mathematics and science.
It provides an opportunity for students to develop an appreciation for music and encourages the skills and discipline necessary for achieving musical excellence throughout a lifetime of experiences.
Students who are active in school sports are fitter, have healthier body weights and are more confident.
Learning languages can help students to make wonderful friends, a successful career in business and academic world, a knowledge of other countries and cultures, and an ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- The programs are divided into two categories:
- Educational and
- These courses may take place on-campus or elsewhere in the local community.
- All of these courses run from 2:45 P.M. until 3:35 P.M. on the following schedules:
- Monday & Thursday or
- Tuesday & Friday.
- School bus service operates after 3:40 on a regular day.
